MAJOR Software and Text Publishing offers a general product customisation
service for its various products. This service provides for 3 levels of customisation:
In relation to Privacy, MAJOR Software and Text Publishing declares that:
- Minor adjustments to fields, screens or reports. (See Incentive 1 below)
- Significant customisation of a standard product (possibly the addition of a new
standard feature or component). (See Incentive 2 below)
- Licencee-specific customisations (those that MAJOR Software and Text Publishing
does not consider could be added to and distributed as part of one of our standard
products.)
MAJOR Software and Text Publishing is offering INCENTIVES to those
forwarding ideas and suggestions (policies outlined above apply):
- If you request a minor adjustment to an existing product, and that adjustment is
incorporated as part of the standard product, MAJOR Software and Text Publishing
will send you a free update or upgrade of that product when the adjustment has been
completed. You must have previously purchased a licenced copy of the given product
to be eligible for this incentive.
- If you forward a significant customisation suggestion, and that suggestion is incorporated
as part of the standard product, MAJOR Software and Text Publishing will send you
a free update or upgrade of that product when the customisation has been completed
along with an additional free licence for that product. You must have previously
purchased a licenced copy of the given product to be eligible for this incentive.
In relation to customisation, MAJOR Software and Text Publishing operates
to the following policy:
- On receiving any suggestions and ideas MAJOR Software and Text Publishing reserves
the right to use (apply) these ideas in any manner or at any time suitable to MAJOR
Software and Text Publishing, without further consultation with the originating
party.
- MAJOR Software and Text Publishing will make product updates, adjustments and customisations
to their products (including selection, timing and other factors) at MAJOR Software
and Text Publishing's discretion.
- The decision as to whether a given request (idea) can be incorporated into a current
product or represents a licencee-specific customisation is at MAJOR Software and
Text Publishing's discretion.
- The copyright and ownership of MAJOR Software and Text Publishing's products remains
with MAJOR Software and Text Publishing at all times.
- Should any of these operational policy items not meet with your approval, or
do not comply with your local laws, please do NOT send us any suggestions
or customisation requests until we have reached an alternate agreement.
MAJOR Software and Text Publishing may provide a free no-obligation quotation
for licencee-specific customisations.
